A traditional service. We enjoy sharing together in enthusiastic praise with traditional hymns and some modern songs. Family time is a time to celebrate and remember the week past, its blessings and challenges and to seek God by participating in prayer together. A challenging biblical message is presented and warm fellowship is shared together over morning tea.
Contemporary gathering where congregation members are encouraged to participate in leading. This includes leading worship, prayers, bible reading, skits, visual presentations, interviews, mission spots and musical items. We have challenging bible talks and vibrant singing led by a dynamic music team.

The Rev Il-Woong Kim has recently accepted a call to ministry with our Oatley congregation. Il-Woong came as a Korean Missionary to Australia over thirteen years ago, planting a Korean Church in Cairns, Queensland.
Whilst in Cairns he worked alongside ministers of his partner church The Uniting Church of Australia. After five and a half years in Cairns he moved to Sydney where he has spent time working in ministry within Korean Churches, supply ministry at Leigh Memorial Uniting Church in Parramatta and with the Board of Mission of the NSW Synod of The Uniting Church as a Share Jesus Mission worker.
During 2007, Il-Woong was involved in part time supply at St Andrew’s Uniting Church at Richmond NSW whilst also leading a Korean Faith Community as part of the Parramatta Mission Team. Il-Woong, his wife Chun An and two sons Ben and Jinoo joined the Oatley congregation in February 2008.
Contact Il-Woong by email or phone him on 9580 6406.

Stuart Pendlebury is the full time Family/Youth pastor at Oatley Uniting Church and has been working in that role since it was established in 2003. Stuart had been leading as a lay youth leader at the church for many years previous to this time and has enjoyed the move to this ministry full time, seeing it as an exciting and challenging role. Stuart was able to draw on his time as a youth leader in the church as well as his experiences in the workplace as both a local Youth Liaison Officer in the NSW Police Force and Chaplain at Trinity Prep School to meet the spiritual needs of the youth and family at Oatley Uniting.
Whilst keen to meet and share time with the new families coming to Oatley Uniting, he also co-ordinates and leads the church's youth groups and is involved in various minstries in several local primary and secondary schools.
Stuart is married to Jenny and they have four girls. Stuart and Jenny have been at Oatley Uniting Church since 1984 and have lived in Oatley for most of that time. Stuart also enjoys sports such as cricket and rugby and has managed to include several of his triumphant sporting moments in a few of his sermons during the service on Sunday night.
Contact Stu by email or phone him on 9586 1522.
